Talent Shortage in Banking... A Myth or Reality?
Brian's Blog
Look at the banking sector... ๐ We're down to fewer than 5,000 banks today, from 15,000 in '84.
Still, the workforce hasn't shrunk.
Finding talent? It's a real task.
We're not just seeking tellers anymore.
We need Universal Bankers.
The job's not just about counting money.
It's about juggling multiple tasks....teller drawers, process loans, handle customer queries, and more.
Finding the right blend of technical acumen?
Yes, that's the real game.
But remember, posting a job and hoping the right candidate would find us is old school
It's about being proactive, not reactive.
Embracing tech is the new norm.
It's no longer just about Word or Excel. It's about AI, CRM, and advanced tech.
Once we have the talent, we need to nurture it.
Continuous learning, recognition, challenges, rewards - that's how we retain talent.๐
So, is there a talent shortage in banking? Or do we need to redefine our strategies?
It's not about filling positions, but bridging the disconnect.
Let's future-proof banking together!
