Banks are struggling to keep up with technology trends.
But it’s only because that’s what they’re telling themselves.
Let me explain.
The problem isn’t keeping up with technology,
It’s feeling like you HAVE to.
What’s the point of integrating technology anyways?
I can tell you that it’s definitely not “so that you can have the latest technology.”
That’s no point at all.
The purpose of technology is to IMPROVE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE.
That’s it.
Even if it’s 100% internal,
You’re using it to streamline and personalize the customer experience.
So why are you worried about whether or not you have the latest and greatest?
The companies that best leverage technology often don’t have the newest tech stack.
What they do have is an understanding of WHY they have it.
And a drive to use it more and more effectively.
How many times have you changed your tech stack just for the sake of changing your tech stack?
