Ever wondered how someone could start a bank during a financial crisis?

I launched an $11 billion bank amidst the 2008 chaos. 🌪️

Let’s rewind to March 2008, when the world of finance was in turmoil. I was working for GE Corporate at the time, in the securitization business.

A meeting with my boss turned into an unexpected adventure – starting a bank when everything was going haywire.

Together with a small team, we took the plunge and by August 2008, had started an $11 billion bank.

An unconventional start that shaped my understanding of the banking industry from the ground up.

Digging deep on banks is what I do.
